
This month’s flavour is Thai! “The Food of Thailand: A Journey for Food Lovers” to be exact. This is an absolutely stunning book that I received from my brother for Christmas. I had just returned from a 5 week long trip to Thailand and this was the perfect book to remind me of the wonderful foods that I had experienced. This is a BIG book with gorgeous pictures of not only food, but of people and places, too. It provides a glimpse into the true culture of Thailand. If you have any interest in trying a new, exotic cuisine, please pick up this book. The recipes are simple and any uncommon ingredients can be picked up in an Asian specialty store. I’ll be posting some delicious prawns from this book, as the first of February’s recipes soon!
