Blackberry Infused Vodka
My friend and I practice yoga frequently now- several times a week… But on one particular August day, we were just not feeling our usual yogi activities! I suggested we take a bike ride instead, and she suggested we pick some blackberries. As I hadn’t picked any berries yet this year, I jumped on the idea and we headed off to find a suitable spot. Within a couple minutes we found a huge farmer’s field so we set down our bikes and started picking. Just as we would finish one bush, we would discover more! We ended up with a couple solid buckets of blackberries and the occasional berry found it’s way into our mouths! These were sweet and delicious berries and it was great way to take advantage of one of the last days of summer.
I don’t bake as often as I used to anymore and I didn’t feel like making a pie, or a crumble, etc. These berries tasted so great on their own that I ended up eating a ton of them plain! I saved a couple for something special…Blackberry Infused Vodka!
There are some great flavoured vodka’s out there now and I have tried quite a few- blueberry, black currant, watermelon, jalapeno. I decided to try making my own flavoured vodka. It’s an extremely simple process….
Blackberry Infused Vodka
- vodka (any amount)
- berries (as many needed for the amount of vodka you have)
(*I used about a handful of berries for maybe a quarter of a 2’6 of vodka)
Drop berries into vodka. Let sit for 2 – 5+ days. Strain out berries.
Please, try not to hurt yourselves in the process of this difficult recipe

you should do the iceberg vodkas..i’m sure they would taste waaaayyyy better hahaha. In have tons more Blackberries if you need be!
