White Wine Sangria - Koko's Kitchen

White Wine Sangria - Koko's KitchenSANGRIA! My favourite summer cocktail to abuse on a beautiful day. I’m normally a pink or red sangria kinda girl, but on my birthday weekend in Whistler I went out of my comfort zone and gave the ol’ white sangria a try. What was I thinking!? White sangria is the bomb! Not too sweet and full of delicious summer, fruity flavour – nectarines, peaches, blueberries galore!

This will make the perfect addition to any barbecue or party,ย or take it in a sneaky sippy cup as you float down the River of Golden Dreams!

Fruity White Wine Sangria (makes ~2 L)

Fruit-infused white wine sangria perfect for a summer party or BBQ!

  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 nectarine, diced
  • 1 peach, diced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar*
  • 1/2 cup Triple Sec
  • 1.5 L dry white wine
  • 1 can San Pellegrino Aranciataย flavouredย soda

Combine fruit in a large pitcher or bowl and add the coconut sugar (*use white sugar if you want the sangria to be crystal clear, as coconut sugar clouds the colour a bit). Stir until dissolved.

Stir in the Triple Sec, white wine and San Pellegrino.

If possible, let chill in the fridge for a couple hours and then enjoyyyyyyy!!

It’s true, it’s always about the red sangria, but the white wine sangria is super good too. Yours look lovely! Seemed like you had a great time in Whistler ๐Ÿ™‚ . Happy belated birthday!

  • Samantha @MyKitchenLove

I’ve always preferred white sangria, but I’ve always preferred white wine so … your version looks delicious! And i have memories of canning down the River of Golden Dreams – I think I should take a tip from you and pack some sangria next time ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Laura

These glasses of sangria look so colourful and inviting! Planning to try them for a baseball wrap up party this weekend!

  • Melissa

You had me at peaches!!! Love the colours in this sangria, and the ingredients would marry perfectly! Can’t wait to give it a try!

Looks like fun! I never make sangria but I really should, it’s so fresh-tasting

  • Elaine Nessman

I’m a huge Sangria fan too. I love the fact that you used coconut sugar. Must try!

  • Thanks Elaine!! It’s such a challenge for me to add refined white sugar to anything these days… I love coconut sugar as a low GI option! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Oooh you should! It’s such a great drink for summer and a fun one to share with friends ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I love peaches, too!! Let me know how it goes! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Thank you!! That sounds like the perfect occasion for some sangria!

  • Thank you Samantha!! Ah, you have done the river- that’s awesome!! When I was a kid, my family would canoe down it every year. This year’s $20 inflatable “Explorer 200” was a totally different experience ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Totally! It’s nice to switch it up once in awhile though! Thank you so much ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Oooh sure do!! It’s on its way Angie! ๐Ÿ˜‰
