Welcome to Koko’s Kitchen! I am Koko Brill, the blogger, recipe developer, and reviewer behind the scenes here. I graduated from culinary school with a certificate in baking & pastry arts and followed that up with a raw chef certification. I studied holistic nutrition extensively, and obtained a certificate in aromatherapy, as well. I love using my knowledge of health and wellness and translating it into recipes that nourish the body, mind, and soul. I am big into promoting PMA (positive mental attitude) and I am a total spirit junkie! In addition to making food, I love fitness (yoga, running, strength-training), fashion, music, and reading. Being in the kitchen to me is all about having fun. I am a huge goof and I love to laugh. If it’s not fun it just ain’t worth it for me, so I don’t take life too seriously. I enjoy showing people that everyone is different and every food lifestyle choice doesn’t have to be an ‘all-or-nothing’ thing. I believe that people can take eating with certain restrictions way too far- whereas, for me it is all about listening to my body. I like to eat mostly vegan but every once in a while I will eat something that isn’t. I love to Nourish My Guts, but I also love getting a bit wild and having a couple drinks. Whatever works for you, while still being conscious of the choices you make and creating a good balance.

I run a cold-pressed juice and raw food company (also named Koko’s Kitchen). My goal with this company is to allow those who may not have the time or experience to create healthy foods to have an option for their busy lifestyle. I just want to #NOURISHYOURGUTS!
