Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

I made these completely unhealthy, totally indulgent cinnamon rolls because I thought they would make the best treat for say, Christmas morning!

Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

Baking with yeast can be so time-consuming, as you wait for things to rise. What I like about this recipe for vegan cinnamon rolls is that you can prepare them mostly ahead of time, and the next morning, you can just pull them out of the fridge for their final rise, and then bake them.

Use your creativity when it comes to the add-ins; chopped walnuts, or pecans, raisins, craisins, pumpkin spices, and chocolate chips. Enjoy these tasty cinnamon rolls!

  • Delicious! I love cinnamon rolls!

  • I made a similar vegan recipe myself but your glazed cinnamon rolls look amazing & ooh so tasty too!

  • They look absolutely divine, Koko. I love cinnamon buns.

  • Nothing wrong with an unabashed treat now and again! These do look like the perfect Christmas indulgence…the frosting has a lovely glistening, snow white feel to it too.

Speaking of which, the sky is dropping massive tongue-catching flakes as I write…. so pretty – my kids are out trying to snag a few with the dog ;-).

I’m with you on the prepare ahead of time option… it really simplifies life and then you can actually enjoy the morning like everyone else – yay! I’m heading over to One Green Planet now.

  • Thanks mom!
    Thanks Katarina!
    Thanks Sophie!

    oooooh looks amazing!

  • Hi Koko! I’ve just stumbled upon your blog and I absolutely love your focus on nutrition… in balance with a good dose of delicious, of course! This recipe looks absolutely beautiful… one question, can I substitute chia gel for the flax egg (ground up the same way?). I have lots of chia seeds in the cupboard and I assume the principle is the same. Thanks for the recipe and inspiration! x

  • Thanks Mel!

Hi Laura! Glad you made it to Koko’s Kitchen! You can absolutely use chia gel! Hope you like it 🙂
