It has been a while since my last post on Summer Sangria, but I have my fair share of reasons! I have been hard at work (and play!)
I spent a ton of time preparing several dozen cupcakes and a small cake for a wedding. I was also busy making a two-tier birthday cake for a surprise birthday party!

This is the purple ombre cake that I made for the surprise birthday. It was all carrot cake with a pineapple filling, and lemon cream cheese frosting. The outside was vanilla Italian buttercream.
I also participated in Vancouver’s Color Me Rad 5k run. It was a lot of fun getting covered in paint!!
Lastly, I will leave you with my latest contribution to One Green Planet. It’s a unique and flavourful watermelon gazpacho.
