Fruity White Wine Sangria
SANGRIA! My favourite summer cocktail to abuse on a beautiful day. I’m normally a pink or red sangria kinda girl, but on my birthday weekend in Whistler I went out of my comfort zone and gave the ol’ white sangria a try. What was I thinking!? White sangria is the bomb! Not too sweet and full of delicious summer, fruity flavour – nectarines, peaches, blueberries galore!
This will make the perfect addition to any barbecue or party, or take it in a sneaky sippy cup as you float down the River of Golden Dreams!
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 nectarine diced
- 1 peach diced
- 1 orange sliced
- 1 lemon sliced
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar*
- 1/2 cup Triple Sec
- 1.5 L dry white wine
- 1 can San Pellegrino Aranciata flavoured soda
-
Combine fruit in a large pitcher or bowl and add the coconut sugar. Stir until dissolved.
-
Stir in the Triple Sec, white wine and San Pellegrino.
-
If possible, let chill in the fridge for a couple hours and then enjoyyyyyyy!!
*use white sugar if you want the sangria to be crystal clear, as coconut sugar clouds the colour a bit.
